Winning the national soccer championship in high school and playing a big role in the outcome, saving three out of five penalty kicks to make it to the championship.

Why Adoption?
Why adopt? After having our daughter, we knew that if our family grew, we felt led to do it through adoption. We want this child to know they were our first choice. We are able to have more biological children but are choosing to adopt because we want this child to grow up knowing we adopted because we wanted to, not because we needed to. We are excited to adopt any child no matter the race. As a mixed-race couple ourselves, we are open to any child, regardless of race. We believe that each child should be given a chance and not to view one race as different than another.
