Why Adoption?
We are adopting for several reasons. First, we have always wanted to be parents. And second, our plan for our family has always included adoption. Early in our relationship we have talked about what we wanted our family to look like and multiple children and adoption were both part of that plan. Years ago we were surprised to find out Megan was pregnant and we were expecting our first child. We were very excited and couldn’t wait. During the course of that time we found out our son was not developing correctly and would not live for long. In April of that year, Elijah was born, he passed away 31 hours later. Although it was difficult we were thankful for the time we had and cherish those memories. We tried again to have children but experienced several miscarriages. We are very excited to get the opportunity to become parents through adoption.
