Why Adoption?
We have always dreamed of starting a family together and have always had a calling to help where we can. We started with fostering. We initially fostered to help an extended family member in need, but that family member’s needs were resolved before we were licensed. Around that same time, after years of seeing specialists, it became clear that we were not able to have our own children. It was only a short time later were asked if we could take in a foster child and have been forever changed by the experience. In the last two years we have fostered three wonderful babies who needed a safe, loving home. Through the process of fostering, we learned unconditional love and the joys of parenting. We are pursuing adoption to start our forever home since that is not the main intention of foster care. We may never fathom the selfless love required to choose adoption; but we promise to provide an environment of safety, love, playfulness, and learning for your child. We are firm believers that love makes a family, and we have lots of love to share.
