Hobbies: Watching sports, traveling, reading about history
Favorite Food: Tacos and ice cream (not at the same time though)
Favorite Holiday: Thanksgiving (food, family, and football)

Childhood Memory: Going to Phillies games with my dad and brother and getting authentic cheesesteaks afterwards.
Favorite thing to do with Teddy: I enjoy helping him put together his toy train tracks and playing with him.

About Rebecca

Occupation: 5th Grade Teacher
Education: B.A. in History
Hobbies: Performing in community theater productions, traveling, reading
Favorite Food: I have a sweet tooth! I especially love chocolate chip cookies.
Favorite Holiday: Christmas. I love Christmas traditions.
Favorite Season: Fall. 100%.
Childhood Memory: Going apple picking with my family and getting apple cider and donuts.
Favorite thing to do with Teddy: Taking him to the zoo. They have great playgrounds and a splash pad!

Why Adoption?

To us, adoption is just another way to grow a family— and one we are very familiar with. Rebecca and both her sisters are adopted. And our son Teddy came to us through adoption. We briefly struggled with infertility, but quickly agreed adoption was the right choice for us. After all, we have seen the beauty of adoption through Rebecca and her sisters’ upbringing. We are very familiar with both the ups and downs of adoption and feel confident in navigating these discussions with our children.

We will gladly welcome a child of any race, ethnicity, background, etc. and will treat him/her with the unconditional love and respect they deserve.
