We have known each other almost our entire lives and have been together as a couple for over 20 years. Family is one of the most important things in our life and we know that raising a child together will enhance and strengthen our relationship. We have discussed adoption since before we were married and after trying unsuccessfully to have our own children we realize that this is the path that was meant to be. We will love our child unconditionally and we look forward to helping him or her grow and learn.

Why Adoption?
Having a family through adoption is something that we have discussed since before we were married and we both felt that providing a loving home to a child in need is something that we wanted to do. However, we knew that we would have to be at the right place in our lives before we would be able to adopt. As time went on and we discussed our future more we decided to try to have our own child. Over two years passed with no success, despite numerous tests and doctor’s visits. After dealing with the frustration and heartbreak of infertility we truly feel that adopting a child was meant to be. It doesn’t matter to us if our child is a boy or a girl, or if he or she is a different race than we are. We will love our child unconditionally and provide him or her with a safe, loving, and supportive home.
