Why Adoption?
When I was 13 years old I wrote a letter to my mom outlining my future goals. Included in that outline was adopting a child. Adoption has been on my heart for most of life. As I’ve moved through adulthood I’ve always wanted a family, and for the past couple years adoption has weighed heavy on me. I have been learning as much as I can about the process and have decided that it is time to act on what I’ve learned. When my mom returned the letter I’d written as a child that she’d saved for all of those years I knew I was making the right decision moving forward with adoption.
