Why Adoption?
We had an agenda, a plan. “Lots of babies,” we used to say. Even early on, we talked about having adoption be part of our family planning process. We moved home to be closer to family, so they could help us build experiences for our kids and we could be active in theirs.
For years, we tried on our own. Doctors helped but have yet to be successful. After all the time and heartache, time to create our family ourselves. We want to be parents to a baby that will allow us to love him or her unconditionally and as our own. We cannot control what we cannot control, but we can provide a home and loving family to a deserving child, no matter race and gender.
Our hearts are big, and we can’t wait to be “mom” and “dad.”
