Why Adoption?
When I was 18 years old, a family friend decided to adopt and began the process. Watching her go through the process and finally bringing her daughter home was an amazing experience to witness. It was then that I decided I would adopt someday. As my son has gotten older and more independent, I find that I am missing having a little one in the house that depends on me 24/7. I am at a stage in my life where I have the time, desire, and financial stability to bring another little one into my home. This past summer while hosting our exchange student, we were a family of 3, and when he went back home, I found that I missed that. That is when I decided to start the adoption process again, so we could be a permanent family of 3.
