Why Adoption?
We had tried to start a family through natural birth, but that clearly was not God’s plan and we did not feel the push to pursue medical help for natural birth, we felt God put adoption on our hearts. Dave’s sister and brother in law were the ones who really opened our eyes to this option as they started pursuing fostering to adopt. We knew after talking to them that adoption was something we really felt called to and then shortly after completing the process, God blessed us with our first son through adoption. We have always talked about having more than one child because we both grew up with siblings and loved the thought of that for our kids. Pursuing adoption for a sibling for our son is exactly what we feel called to do to grow our family.
