Why Adoption?

We have been trying to have a child for our entire marriage. After we got married, we went to a specialist and learned that we would not be able to conceive on our own. We spent time saving money so we could try IVF. When we finally started treatment, we were so happy to become pregnant. Sadly, due to a medical error, we lost our baby. It was one of the hardest things we have ever gone through. We continued trying IVF, but the treatments were not successful. 

Even through all of this, our dream of becoming parents has never gone away. We still want to experience the joy of raising a child. We dream about the little moments—pushing a child in a toy car while making silly sounds, baking cookies together, or hearing them laugh and call out “Daddy” in a store. We are choosing adoption because we truly want a child to love and care for. We want to watch them grow, learn, and experience life.
