Why Adoption?
We actually talked about each other’s openness to potentially adopt one day on our first date. At the time, we had no idea that infertility would become part of our story. Victoria has had a heart for adoption ever since she learned about her mother’s own adoption from Germany as a little girl. Femi’s openness came from a lifetime of witnessing his parents help others as he grew up in Nigeria. Some might call it a coincidence, but we are able to look back and recognize we are exactly where we are supposed to be. We are full of love, hope, and anticipation for what the future holds.
