Why Adoption?

Through seven long years of infertility setbacks and recently saying goodbye to three wonderful foster children, God has closed our chapter with fostering and brought us to this new chapter of adoption and we are truly excited and ready! Ever since Jenn was in her early twenties, she felt called by God to adopt. Jenn can relate a little, as her father was adopted out of the hospital as a newborn.

Through the fostering process, we learned quickly how to parent a newborn, and also parent siblings of a one-year-old and a three-year-old. Fostering taught us to not only love the children but also care for and consider the biological parents. It brought us to pray for the biological parents, which helped us grow in our compassion for hurting people. James 1:27 has become one of our favorite verses.
