Why Adoption?
As a same sex couple, we weighed all our options of how to be able to give a child unconditional love and build the family we always wanted, and adoption was the clear choice. Diversity, inclusion, and acceptance is something we wholeheartedly embrace, and we are dedicated to raising a child of any race in an environment of love, understanding, and respect for their beautifully unique selves. Shane’s mother was a social worker and he saw first-hand growing up how the adoption process worked and the impact it can have on a child’s life. There are so many children out there currently and birthparents deciding on an adoption plan who just want to be loved. We have both reached the point in our lives where we are ready to take that next step and bring children into our lives. We are ready for this journey and cannot wait to share it with a little one who will forever hold a special place in our heart.
