Why Adoption?
We have always loved spending time with kids and thought of our family as including children. As life often does, it did not go as planned and we had problems with infertility. We have had multiple discussions about adoption, but kept waiting for the “perfect time”. People come into your lives for a reason. We both meet a lot of people in our professions and we’re fairly chatty. We started noticing that we were meeting adoptive parents, foster kids, birth families, and it started to feel like someone was trying to tell us something. All of these people that we were meeting, hearing their stories, encouraged us to continue on our adoption journey.
