Occupation: Athletic Trainer
Vacation: yearly family boat trip to Kentucky/Tennessee
Holiday: Christmas because I love giving someone the perfect gift. But Thanksgiving and Easter are close seconds because the extended family gets together to eat and play games.
Music: pop and country, but ultimately anything upbeat that I can sing or whistle along to
Hobbies: I have several. I garden and can and freeze the extra vegetables. I like to paint, anything bright and colorful, very abstract. I like to read fiction books because it is easy to get lost in the story. And I like to flip houses and help my younger cousins with their new home projects. When the weather is nice, I play pickleball at least once a week at my parents and my family and coworkers come out to join in on the fun.
Favorite food: almost everything. We love to cook and try new recipes, but we also like to try new things at restaurants to see what we might be missing out on.

Why Adoption?
Early on in adulthood, I was told that it would be difficult to get pregnant, so I have always considered adoption an option for me. After getting pregnant and having three losses we decided to start the adoption process as opposed to fertility treatments. There are already plenty of children that need loving families and brave parents who want something for their kids that they might not be able to offer. I want to be that option for someone.
