We are so excited at the thought of being able to share our lives with a new child. Adoption has been a part of both of our lives since the very beginning. Adding a child through adoption is a process we have talked about since we were first married. We are excited to move forward in the process and welcome a new child and sharing our love and our futures with them.

Why Adoption?
We have been married for 8 e a r s and decided to start our family 4 years into our marriage. Truthfully getting pregnant was not overly difficult for us. After we had our daughter, getting pregnant with twins was quite a shock to the system. A high-risk pregnancy and babies born 4 weeks early was an incredibly stressful time for us. After the boys were born, we made the decision that they would be our last biological kids, but always felt we would have a 4th child to complete our family. We have an extensive history of adoption in our family, with John, Shelbie’s mom and Shelbie’s uncle all being adopted as infants. We also have friends locally who have successfully adopted. We feel like we are in a unique situation and have so many invaluable resources to make sure this baby will be loved and cared for. We are excited about this opportunity to provide a safe, loving, and joyful home to the final member of our family.
