Why Adoption?

From early on in our marriage, we desired to grow our family through adoption as an opportunity to testify to God’s love for children in need and to make a lifelong commitment to caring for children. We first followed through with those desires in 2014 and then again in 2016 with the adoption of our daughter and son. Through adoption, we hope to instill in others a love for adoption and the joy that children can bring. We enjoy teaching our children all about the love of their birth family and the joy that we have in raising them. We believe that diversity in God’s creation is something to be cherished. For this reason, we are open to any race or gender for adoption. We believe it is imperative to teach our children about their heritage and cultural background so that they can celebrate it. It already has been such an enriching experience to learn more about our children’s heritage and embrace the value in different cultural backgrounds.
