Why Adoption?
Adoption has been on our hearts since we were both young children, and over time, it became a calling we both felt deeply through prayer and reflection. For Mariah, I have had a desire to adopt since I was about 5 years old and met one of my best friends. Her parents had adopted her, and when I met her, I knew I wanted to “adopt someone’s best friend.” For Alex, I had grown up having two cousins that were adopted and I always loved spending time with them. We believe adoption is how God is calling us to grow our family, and we are excited and ready to welcome and love a child wholeheartedly.
