Why Adoption?
From the very beginning, we both felt drawn to adoption as a way to build our family. Even before we met, our hearts had been shaped by friends and family touched by adoption, and early in our relationship we shared a mutual hope that adoption would one day be part of our family’s story.
That hope grew stronger as we walked alongside Stephanie’s sister and brother-in-law during the adoption of our nephew and later welcomed another nephew through adoption after our son was born. Seeing these journeys firsthand showed us how deeply adoption is rooted in love, courage, and connection. While we are grateful to have a biological child, we believe adoption is a beautiful expression of love and a meaningful way to grow a family. We have no preference for gender, race, or ethnicity and feel honored by the possibility of welcoming a child into a safe, nurturing home filled with love and gratitude.
