We sincerely appreciate you considering us as a potential adoptive family and for taking the time to learn more about us. We will never be able to fully express our gratitude for the opportunity to bring another child into our family, but we hope that we can convey some amount of the love and devotion we would show any child if we have the opportunity to welcome him or her into our family.

Why Adoption?
We have discussed adoption since before we got married and the only question has always been when, not if. Michael was raised in a mixed family and is close to his step-father and extended family. He learned from a young age that you do not need biology to raise children in a loving environment. And while Carolyn may have grown up in a more traditional family, as a teacher, she quickly learned how different family units can provide equally loving environments.
We waited to adopt because we knew it would be safer for the health of the baby to have children when we were younger, but we have always wanted to adopt. We have no preference on gender, race, or ethnicity. We look forward to welcoming any child into our family with the same love and enthusiasm as we have welcomed our two boys.
