Why Adoption?
We are pursuing adoption because of infertility issues. We have tried many treatments, all unsuccessful, which have helped us grow together as a stronger couple. We also never lost the desire to become parents and grow our happy family. Adoption was a natural decision for us, as Kate’s friend was adopted as a baby and our neighbors have two adopted children. Being a couple with different cultural backgrounds, we hope for a child of any race or ethnicity. We will embrace and interweave their national origin and roots onto our family through conversations about their heritage, ethnic foods, community, and holiday celebrations.
