Why Adoption?
For some people, including Nathan, adoption has been on their heart most of their life. Nathan grew up with cousins that were adopted and started to pray about adopting one day when he was very young. Early on in our marriage, Nathan expressed that, but it wasn’t until a few years ago when it became a deep desire for Kaitlin. It got to a point in our infertility journey when it really started to weigh on Kaitlin. She begged God for the desires of His heart, to lead us where He wanted us to go. And He did. Kaitlin has had a deep desire to be a mom her whole life, but God gave her a deep desire to become a mom through adoption.
