Why Adoption?
Adoption for us began as a random thought and evolved into the greatest decision we ever made. We were unable to conceive after years of trying, which led to much disappointment. After continued prayer asking God to show us His plan, we decided to pursue adoption. God would either open the door or slam it shut. Our son was conceived in 2017 when we decided to pursue adoption. We got to meet him when he was born in 2018. What a God story!
Jackson has a mix of Caucasian and Puerto Rican. We are grateful that where we live there is much diversity. This gives us the opportunity to attend celebrations or reach out to others that share our child’s ethnicities allowing us to recognize cultural differences. This allows our family to include more traditions in our home. Now that we are settled in our house with good stable jobs and God willing, we are eager to parent a second child. We are so glad this is where you come in!!
