Our low upfront fees allow you the flexibility to network with other adoption resources and advertise your family independently, increasing your chances of a successful match. We’ll be there to assist you from the moment of placement all the way through to finalization.

Our commitment to you includes clear and straightforward pricing.

  • Agency Fee: $10,000
    • This fee is paid in three installments:
      • $4,000 upon signing the contract
      • $2,000 upon becoming paper ready
      • $4,000 upon being matched
  • The agency fee does not include:
    • Birth mother living expenses
    • Legal fees
    • Birth parent counseling
    • Medical expenses for the birth mother and child (Note: 95% of the birth mothers we work with have some form of medical coverage).
    • Home study fee

Requirements to Adopt a Newborn

Adoptive Parent Requirements:

  • Age: At least one parent must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Background Checks: A clean criminal background report and a clear Child Abuse Registry check are required.
  • Health: A good health record from your physician is necessary to ensure you can meet the physical demands of parenting.
  • Marital Status: We welcome single men, single women, and married couples. There are no length-of-marriage requirements.
  • Financial Stability: You must be financially able to provide for a child’s needs.

Children Available for Adoption

Our program focuses primarily on newborn adoption, offering you the incredible opportunity to become a parent to an infant.

  • Ages: The children available are typically newborns, and occasionally older infants to toddlers.
  • Racial and Ethnic Backgrounds: We work with birth parents from a variety of backgrounds, and the children available for adoption are African American, Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian, and biracial/multiracial.
  • Special Needs: We also facilitate adoptions for children with special needs.

Understanding the Adoption Timeframe

We know that waiting is the hardest part. The timeframe for a newborn adoption can vary greatly, from as little as one month after your home study is approved to several years. Your flexibility and willingness to be open to different situations significantly impact the process.

  • Key Factors: The time it takes is dependent on your openness to the birth parent’s needs (such as communication and contact after placement), the characteristics of the child you’re open to (including gender, racial background, and special needs), and your financial ability to respond to opportunities.
  • The Matching Process: The most significant factor is a birth parent choosing your family’s profile. We’ve seen a recent impact from a national decline in birth rates, which has also resulted in fewer women choosing to make adoption plans.
  • No Guarantees: There is no “typical” or “average” timeframe. We are committed to supporting you throughout your wait, offering guidance and resources to keep you hopeful and prepared.

Travel and Interstate Adoptions

Your travel requirements will be based on the birth mother’s location.

  • Out-of-State Placements: If the birth mother lives in another state, you will be required to travel there to pick up your baby. You’ll need to remain in that state until the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children (ICPC) grants approval for your baby to cross state lines. This process typically takes no more than 7-10 days.
  • In-State Placements: If the birth mother resides in your home state, you will only need to travel to the county where the child is born for placement.
