Why Adoption?
We both came into our relationship knowing that we would adopt one day. For Patrick, adoption was always an option because he believes in opening up his heart and home. For De Andree, adoption was always something that she wanted to do even as a young woman. We tried to have a biological child for the past 5 years, trying a variety of things, however, we have been unsuccessful. We knew from the beginning of our relationship that being a family could mean a variety of things. Family is just the two of us. Family is our extended family of parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. Family is bringing a child into our home through the gift of adoption. We are open to any gender or race as we are happy to extend our family through adoption.
