Why Adoption?

Adoption was on our hearts long before we experienced infertility. In fact, it was something we talked about as high schoolers. While dating we would daydream about our future. We both wanted a large family and a home full of laughter, happiness, and love. Our shared faith in Christ led us to discuss adoption. Emily has a cousin who was adopted and her grandfather grew up in the Children’s Home. As we pursued our careers in medicine and education, we worked closely with children, advancing our excitement to start a family. Five years ago, we began to try for a baby. As the months progressed, we both felt God was clearly telling us to follow our desire to adopt. We were blessed to adopt our daughter Charlotte in 2019. She’s our whole world and we can’t imagine life without her. We are anxious to add another bundle of joy to our crew and would be honored to be considered by you!
