Why Adoption?
Before we met, we both wanted a family. Holly always wanted a family of both adopted and biological children. Since Ryan and his brother are adopted he has a special place in his heart for adoption. Knowing that his parents were able to adopt and care so much for him, Ryan wants to transition that unconditional love to a child of his own.
Once we met, the want for a family dramatically increased. Working with children for many years, we both know that we love being around children and want a family of our own. From the very beginning, we knew adoption was going to be a journey we would take, but we had also planned to have biological children as well. When Holly was diagnosed with PCOS, we were devastated. This condition has caused infertility, leading to failed fertility treatments and four miscarriages. We have come to peace with the way life has taken us, as we have arrived at our journey of adoption.
