Why Adoption?
The most basic answer is that I am a single woman in her 30’s who wants to become a mom. Adoption is one path to parenthood.
On a deeper level, I believe that I can rise to the occasion: not only of being a mother and caring for a child, but of being an adoptive mother specifically. I believe that I can help a child embrace all their identities, all their heritage. I believe that I can nurture a relationship with their birth family, and ensure this child knows that they are loved by ALL their family.
