Why Adoption?
We have always wanted to become parents and enjoy watching our nieces learn and grow. Getting a late start, we quickly realized we had some challenges ahead of us. After a miscarriage, infertility continued to prevent us from having a biological family. Ted was the first to consider adoption. He was concerned about Katie’s health. Given time and after talking with other adoptive parents, we knew in our hearts this was the path we wanted to follow. Having friends and family from various backgrounds, we are open to children of any race or ethnicity and will encourage and support them to be true to themselves and embrace their culture.
