Thank you so much for taking a minute to read our profile. Adoption has always held a special place in our hearts- for Sara, because she knew early on she couldn’t have children, and for Tom, because he has an aunt who was adopted. We are so excited by the idea of growing our family- we’ve been preparing our hearts, and feel we have so much love to give!

Why Adoption?
Sara found out at a very young age that she would never be able to have children due to a genetic disorder. This made dating (and life in general) very hard. It was also quite sad for her, as she has a natural affinity towards children. Still, she baby sat often, took child developmental classes, and even became a children’s therapist. Sara started to dream of becoming an adoptive mother. She was hoping to find someone who shared that dream. Tom certainly fit the bill, not to mention his family had been blessed by adoption as well. Soon, this dream became a shared one. We feel that God has been guiding our journey since the beginning, helping us prepare our hearts and our home for the past several years. The idea of welcoming a precious little one—no matter what gender, background, or race—into our lives fills us with such joy.
